Barbara, you are proof of God's goodness, mercy, grace and providence in my life.  When I said, "I do" on that day 14 years ago I thought I knew you.  After all, I knew that you loved God and loved to worship him.  I knew that you were beautiful and I knew that just a glance from your eyes was enough...more than enough to water my soul.  After all of these years I have to admit that there was so much I didn't know.

I didn't know that your heart and my heart would beat in rhythm for the orphans of the world and that we would have six precious little ones.  I have seen in you what seems to be and endless channel of God's love to them and even when you are weak, his grace flows strong.  A beauty emanates from you that illumines every room you enter...and you don't even know it...that's what is so beautiful!
